The Crafty Wolves club has been rescheduled. We will now meet February 4th, after school.
6th grade- you have read and rated a lot of stories! The top three stories in 6th grade have been chosen! Mr. Perry will be reading one of the top three stories during lunch on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week. Be sure to bring your device (with QR code reader) to lunch so that you can take part in the voting for the top story in 6th grade! Attention 7th and 8th graders... Do you like to run?.. What about jump?... Maybe you enjoy throwing heavy objects?... If so, come out and join the Wolfpack Track Team. All welcome to come a give it a try, and have the opportunity to represent your school! Track practice will start February 2nd, we will workout from 3:45 to 5:30. Come see Coach Klein or Coach Glover for more information! We hope to see you there! Wolfpack Library is excited to host New York Times bestselling author Michael Grant on Wednesday, February 3rd. During 2nd period, 80 students will get the opportunity to meet with him about talk about his newest book, Front Lines. Mrs. Lassley recently finished this book and gave it 5 stars! Interested in being a part of the 80, see Mrs. Lassley for more information. Crafty Wolves will meet again Thursday (12/10) afterschool in D102! All grade levels are welcome! In honor of the winter holidays, we will be decorating ornaments. Chalkboard paint and basic supplies will be provided, just bring a clear ornament and a friend. Peace, Love, and Reading....that is what our next book fair will be all about! Want to be apart of the book fair crew? Applications are available in the library with Mrs. Lassley! Everything is due on Friday, December 4th. It is time for the 1st Annual Lunch Bunch Make and Take. Each grade level will be making something fun from recycled books. Join us on Wednesday, December 9th during all lunches! Your 7th grade girls basketball teams showed a lot of heart and grit against Staley last night. The red team, battled hard and were up the majority of the game, but just couldn't hold off the mustangs and ended up falling short. The blue team faced a skilled basketball team, but kept battling in the face of adversity. Come support at our home game next Thursday! Your Trent girls' 8th grade basketball teams brought the wolf pack spirit to the courts on Thursday night against Staley Middle School. Both teams got off to a great start, some back and forth scoring, but ended up taking the win. Both B and A teams brought their effort and class last night. Job well done. Keep working hard, ladies! Join us next Thursday for our first home game against Maus Middle School. The Trent Boys Basketball team hosted Staley last night. The B and C teams played hard and are showing improvement week to week. The A team finished the night off with a 38-35 win vs Staley. The first basketball win in the school's brief history. Dylan De Leon led the way with 15 points. The whole team played hard and we couldn't be more proud of them. Can we get a WOLFPACK!!! Art Club will meet again Thursday, December 10th after school in B122 for our Winter Wrap-Up party! We will be crafting gift wrap origami so please bring your favorite gift wrap and your favorite holiday snacks to share! Stop by Ms. Paulette's room if you have any questions. November is Diabetes Awareness Month! Remember how we talked about the importance of counting carbs when you have diabetes? The body breaks down and converts most carbs we eat into sugar or glucose. So eating carbohydrates will make your blood sugar levels rise. Having a blood sugar that is too low or too high can make them feel sick and can be dangerous. We will talk about how they treat low and high blood sugars tomorrow. Only 6 days until our walk! Keep raising money!!
The holidays are upon us and it's time to be creative! Join the Crafty Wolves club on Thursday after school, in Ms. Wages' room, to create some fun Thanksgiving Decorations. Wolf Pack Players are proud to present Trent Middle School's first musical production of "Guys and Dolls Jr." Performances will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m., with a Saturday matinee at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale on My Payments Plus for $5.00.
