Everyone with or without diabetes can benefit from daily exercise. Everyone should be active 30-60 minutes each day! Exercise also gets your brain ready to learn. Exercise is something we should all do everyday. Kids with diabetes need to monitor their blood sugar so that it doesn't go too low or too high while they're exercising. How do they monitor their blood sugar? They have to prick their finger for blood several times a day. This blood sugar test will tell them how well their body is turning the food they eat into energy. Only 3 days until our walk!!
