The Crafty Wolves club has been rescheduled. We will now meet February 4th, after school. 6th grade- you have read and rated a lot of stories! The top three stories in 6th grade have been chosen! Mr. Perry will be reading one of the top three stories during lunch on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week. Be sure to bring your device (with QR code reader) to lunch so that you can take part in the voting for the top story in 6th grade! Attention 7th and 8th graders... Do you like to run?.. What about jump?... Maybe you enjoy throwing heavy objects?... If so, come out and join the Wolfpack Track Team. All welcome to come a give it a try, and have the opportunity to represent your school! Track practice will start February 2nd, we will workout from 3:45 to 5:30. Come see Coach Klein or Coach Glover for more information! We hope to see you there! Attention students who qualified for Dallas Regionals Science Fair. There will be a very important meeting after school on Tuesday, February 2nd in the library. Please make sure you have registered online prior to coming to the meeting. Academic Pentathlon Team, ASSEMBLE! No, we aren't the Avengers, but we ARE looking for students to make up Trent’s Academic Pentathlon team. We need bright, enthusiastic 7th and 8th grade students who are competitive, willing to do a little work, have a lot of fun with a team, and who are ready to represent Trent at this year’s Academic Pentathlon competition on Saturday, April 30th. The theme this year is "INDIA." Students who are interested should plan to attend an informational meeting in D102, Mrs. Wages room, either before OR after school on today, December 15th. We hope to see you there! Lost and Found buckets are already filling up. If you have lost a lunch box or water bottle, please be sure to look thru those buckets in the cafeteria.
See You at the Pole is a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole to lift up friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. This year it will be on Wednesday, September 23rd beginning at 7:40 am. Fellowship of Christian Athletes will have our first huddle meeting in the small gym on Tuesday, September 22nd at 7:45 am. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us for fun games and good fellowship! College Week is next week!!!! Join Trent Middle School in celebration of higher education and school spirit!!! Each day will have a new dress up theme. Monday-On the "hunt" for a college...wear camouflage. Tuesday-Your future is "bright" when you go to college...wear neon. Wednesday-"Sport" your favorite...wear your favorite college shirt/jersey and hat. Thursday-Go "crazy" over college...wear your crazy socks. Friday-We have "spirit"...wear your favorite college shirt/jersey or your Trent gear. "Happy Friday Timber Wolves! The PTA is sponsoring the Reflections program this semester. This program gives students an opportunity to express themselves through creativity and artistic efforts. This year's theme is 'Let Your Imagination Fly'. The program deadline is Oct 23rd and all participants must be a PTA member. The PTA member can be a parent and the membership fee is $10. For additional information, look for the Reflections poster posted on bulletin boards or speak with Ms. Madison Paulette. Flyers will also be available in the Front Office." Next Week will kick-off the TRENT MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOD DRIVE! The food drive will run from Sept. 21(st) to Oct 2(nd) and will benefit Frisco Family Services. Please bring your non-perishable, unexpired items to Ms. Kee's room (B105) or Coach Garcia's room (C101) starting Monday before or after school. The grade level that donates the most items will win prizes to include Popsicles at lunch each day for a week and will get to throw a Pie in the Face of two teachers during our Pep Rally.
