Are you interested in running Cross Country for Trent Middle School? There will be an informational meeting after school tomorrow, October 21st in the Library for Boys and Girls Cross Country. 7th and 8th graders are welcome to participate even if they are not in Athletics. It will be Thursday, Oct. 22 from 3:45 until 4:30 in Ms. Green's room, D103. Game on!!! Last night the 7th grade Timberwolves of Trent took on the Pearson Patriots. The Navy team came out with an aggressive first play score and a defensive stand. The Navy team continued to play good football but was not able to find the end zone again and fell with a score of 18 to 0. The Trent Red team took the field next against a hungry Pearson A team. The Timberwolves found the end zone first with a 6o yard touchdown run. The Patriots would answer with a 7 minute drive to make the score 8 to 6. Trent would add on a field goal before the half making it an 11 to 6 game. Trent came out the 2nd half and continued to find the end zone while denying the Patriots any more scores. Congratulations to the Trent 7th grade Football A team on their 2nd victory of the year. Come out next week as the Timberwolves face off against their rival the Stafford Spartans. |
